Materials Planner

Job description: Ready®, one of the fastest growing sports nutrition companies in America growing over 200% in the past 2 years, with co-owners football future hall of famer, Aaron Donald and basketball superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, is looking to hire an enthusiastic and hardworking Materials Planner with an extraordinary attention to detail and goal-centric mentality.

Position Purpose: The objective of this position is to act as a liaison between Ready®, production facilities and suppliers by coordinating packaging and ingredient material ordering to ensure availability of all components and ensure continual supply chain consistency.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Ready ® Production Planning and Inventory Control Manager for short term and long-term packaging and ingredient ordering.
  • Build Excel based Material Requirement Explosion (MRP) models translating production into packaging and ingredient requirements.
  • Compare usage requirements to inventory providing weekly and monthly Purchase Orders to suppliers.· Provide rolling 12-month requirement forecasts to suppliers to ensure supply continuity given Ready ® growth expectations, seasonality, and promotional volume increases.
  • Providing detailed inventory horizons and executing ordering to minimize financial risk while maximizing production consistency.
  • Monitor and report key supplier purchase obligations, historical volume and spend.· Track and report key commodity markets showing supply and demand fundamental changes.
  • Design MS Excel modeling tools for planning and forecasting analysis.
  • Provide support to Production Planning and Inventory Control Manager.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of operational experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry.
  • Advanced data analytical skills and computer modeling capabilities. Advanced use of MS Excel.
  • Superior organizational skills and a proactive approach to handling production issues.
  • Able to work independently and be accountable for meeting planning expectations.· Competitive attitude, exceptional work ethic and high energy
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

Pay:  $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Accounting Coordinator – (Payables/Receivables Analyst)

You will be joining a motivated and hard-charging team and brand that has become a national player in the sports and performance nutrition industry with products in over 20,000 doors all across America. 

Position Purpose: The objective of this position is to work with Ready’s® Finance Team in support of the Accounting Manager, Controller, and CFO in a number of financial areas to maximize the efficiency of the company’s financial controls while adhering to GAAP standards. This is an on-site position. 

Responsibilities:

  • Entering invoices received from vendors
  • Responsible for generating checks, wires and ACH payments.
  • Applying payments to customer account receivable
  • Performing collection efforts on past due customer accounts
  • Preparing and making bank deposits
  • Responsible for all accounting related to Accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Work with controller to ensure accounts payable and accounts receivable process controls are in place and working as intended.
  • Work with external auditors as required for accounts payable and accounts receivable testing.
  • Maintain daily, weekly and monthly cash flow forecast.
  • Responsible for reconciling certain general ledger accounts.
  • Provide key metric analysis around AP/AR/Sales as necessary.
  • Preparing internal information requests as necessary

Skills Required:

  • A budgeting, financial and analytics mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong ERP knowledge
  • Solid organization and multi-tasking abilities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting
  • A minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or wholesale environment
  • AR/AP Experience
  • NetSuite Experience is a PLUS
  • Conversant knowledge of GAAP Standards

Campus Brand Ambassador Manager

Position Purpose: The Campus Brand Ambassador Manager is responsible for the full cycle recruiting, training, and management of campus brand ambassadors who promote Ready® products at colleges and universities across the country.  This role will work closely with operational management to develop and implement short and long-term strategies to ensure that the company has the workforce to successfully perform for today and the future. This position will require overnight travel throughout the United States.  It must also be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead full cycle recruitment process for campus brand ambassadors, including maintaining job postings as well as sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates
  • Host job fairs and boost social media engagement to attract talent; Continuously seek innovative methods to attract a high quality and diverse applicant pool ensuring a robust pipeline of current and future talent
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for all brand ambassadors
  • Serve as company advocate and ensure that all brand ambassadors are positively promoting the brand; ensure personnel needs are understood and effectively addressed
  • Provide ongoing development opportunities to continuously improve brand ambassador talent
  • Research, contact, and build rapport with colleges and universities (university representatives, career centers, key professors, and student organizations) to identify new markets for brand promotion and expand our brand as a preferred employer for new talent
  • Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campus recruitment and brand management
  • Manage the campus recruitment calendar and budget; communicate updates to key stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, marketing, public relations, or a related field
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of campus recruitment experience, preferably in the food or beverage industries; Previous leadership and brand management experience also required
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and integrate with the broader ambassador team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to assess needs, influence, and collaborate with various members of the Ready® team
  • Passion for identify, hiring, and training talent
