Job Summary

The Assistant Category Manager is responsible for analyzing category data to inform new item presentations and program evaluations. This position will support all Category Management activities to drive product category profitability and ensure KPI attainment.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of marketing strategies in retail and channel accounts. 
  • Assist in the demand planning and forecasting capabilities. 
  • Plan and execute promotional events, product on-shelf pricing promotions, and other brand promotional initiatives. 
  • Coordinate retail product onboarding submission requirements for retail accounts. 
  • Assist in planning and executing the in-store launch activities of new products. 
  • Build customer business reviews that assess category performance and highlight opportunities for growth. 
  • Analyze retail data to effectively drive the Ready® brand in the market and monitor activity of competing brands.

    Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, supply chain, or another related field. 
    • Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of category management experience, including executing promotional events, in food and beverage retail channels. 
    • Strong data and analytical skills. 
    • Proven experience with successful customer presentations.

    Job Summary

    The Campus Brand Ambassador Manager is responsible for the full cycle recruiting, training, and management of campus brand ambassadors who promote Ready® products at colleges and universities across the country. This role will work closely with operational management to develop and implement short and long-term strategies to ensure that the company has the workforce to successfully perform for today and the future. 

    There is a preference for this position to be based in Pittsburgh, PA; however, we are open to other geographic locations. This position will require overnight travel throughout the United States. It must also be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. 

     

    Job Responsibilities

    • Lead full cycle recruitment process for campus brand ambassadors, including maintaining job postings as well as sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates
    • Host job fairs and boost social media engagement to attract talent; Continuously seek innovative methods to attract a high quality and diverse applicant pool ensuring a robust pipeline of current and future talent
    • Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for all brand ambassadors 
    • Serve as company advocate and ensure that all brand ambassadors are positively promoting the brand; ensure personnel needs are understood and effectively addressed 
    • Provide ongoing development opportunities to continuously improve brand ambassador talent 
    • Research, contact, and build rapport with colleges and universities (university representatives, career centers, key professors, and student organizations) to identify new markets for brand promotion and expand our brand as a preferred employer for new talent
    • Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campus recruitment and brand management 
    • Manage the campus recruitment calendar and budget; communicate updates to key stakeholders

     

    Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, marketing, public relations, or a related field 
    • Experience: 2-5 years of previous experience as a brand ambassador or brand ambassador program manager in the food or beverage industries. 
    • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) 
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and integrate with the broader ambassador team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
    • Ability to assess needs, influence, and collaborate with various members of the Ready® team 
    • Passion for identify, hiring, and training talent 
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong work ethic and sense of personal responsibility for outcomes
